Programme highlights…
- Launched multiple in-house Level 3 and Level 4 Improvement Apprenticeship programmes for Wilko. The Level 3 to Level 6 Improvement standards provide a Career Pathway for those who want to progress. Some learners have now completed their Level 5 Improvement Specialist Apprenticeship and we even have one learner who has started his Level 6 Improvement Leader Apprenticeship to drive strategic improvements
- In 2019 Wilko and Capella were announced as Finalists in the British Quality Foundation's (BQF) Collaboration Award and Wilko's Continuous Improvement Lead was also awarded BQF's Transformation Leader of the Year. This was in recognition of Capella's training and Wilko's investment in continuous improvement skills to support the Retailer's Business Strategy which was to implement improvement projects to help them deliver their 2030 Strategic Plan. Utilising the Apprenticeship Levy to fund their training in the new Improvement standards which had just been launched by the Institute for Apprenticeships which enabled Wilko to deliver significant business benefits
- Launched an in-house Level 4 Improvement Apprenticeship programmes for Direct Wines to deliver strategic improvements in key functions, and delivered management awareness training to support upskilling
- Enrolled Travelodge delegates onto open Level 4 and Level 5 Improvement Apprenticeship programmes to build capability of key people
- Worked with the CI Lead at Holland & Barrett and developed content for the Senior Leadership Team. Also delivered Level 3, Level 4 and Level 5 apprenticeships
- Delivered Level 4 and Level 5 Improvement apprenticeships for Costa
- Delivered an in-house Level 4 Improvement apprenticeship programme for Next
- Learners from Tui and M & S have joined open cohorts for the Level 4 Improvement apprenticeships
