Outstanding Achievement Award 2020
Capella were winners of the Outstanding Achievement Award 2020 for our contribution to the development of the new Quality Practitioner apprenticeship standard. The Chartered Quality Institute’s Outstanding Achievement Award 2020 was jointly presented to members of the Trailblazer group. Trailblazer groups are made up of employers that represent the occupation and who currently work in, or have experience of the sector, and intend to employ apprentices in it.
The Quality Practitioner Employer Development Group was led by BAE Systems and Fuji Film, and was supported by Capella and Quantum Awards who were also involved in writing the occupational and End-Point Assessment Plan. The Institute for Apprenticeships (IfA) then approve the standard and sign it off ready for delivery. As part of the Trailblazer group Capella are also responsible for promoting this apprenticeship to potential users. This includes sharing learner stories and successes.
A large cross-sector consultation group were also involved, and helped to create an industry-agnostic standard for building new and increased capability in the Quality profession. It was great working with this group of esteemed colleagues and collaborating on this really important project.
The L4 is a higher apprenticeship equivalent to a foundation degree, a Higher National Certificate (HNC), or the first year of an undergraduate degree. Find out more at Quality practitioner / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education
Capella will launch a first open cohort of Quality Practitioners in Q1-2021 with further cohorts planned for October 2021 and January 2022. Open cohorts give employers the flexibility to enrol as few as 1 to many learners onto the L4 Quality Practitioner apprenticeship. It also provides a great external networking opportunity to share learning and best practice with others.
If you’re interested in the L4 Quality Practitioner apprenticeship or any of our other apprenticeship programmes please contact sales@capellaassociates for more details.
